are especially optimised for vocal and speech applications on stage and are thus provided with cartridges of particularly high efficiency (high sensitivity). However, in an environment with extra loud diffuse sound fields, e.g. discotheques, there is a greater possibility of acoustic feedback than at more basic microphones due to this high sensitivity.
